Great location near funicular in old town, with a fun atmosphere, DJ at night, and full bar. Small, private rooms with clean bathrooms and free lockers. Friendly staff and free walking tour. highly recommend staying here.

The hostel is centrally located, making it convenient to explore the city and walk to nearby attractions. The reception staff is friendly and welcoming, creating a pleasant atmosphere upon arrival. Additionally, the hostel offers a pub crawl for guests to enjoy a night out in the city.

The hostel bar has a strong cigarette smell which can be off-putting for non-smokers.

I recently stayed at Chillout Hostel for a few nights during my trip to explore the city. The location was truly perfect, right in the center of everything and within walking distance to both the upper and lower town. The staff at the hostel were incredibly friendly and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The cleanliness of the hostel was outstanding, with ensuite bathrooms being thoroughly cleaned every day. Despite being off-season, the room I stayed in, which usually accommodates 8 people, never had more than 3 occupants, ensuring a comfortable and peaceful stay. The hostel also organized fun nightly events, adding to the overall enjoyable atmosphere. I particularly loved the outside restaurant and the wonderful vibe it created. I had a fantastic stay and wouldn't hesitate to return.

The room I stayed in was quite small and cramped, making it difficult to move around comfortably. the noise from the bar and late-night activities made it challenging to get a good night's sleep.

I had an amazing stay at Chillout Hostel. I was actually surprised to be upgraded to a 4 bed dorm instead of the 8 bed I had booked. The beds were uniquely designed and really comfortable. The hostel had a cool and spacious atmosphere, with inspiring quotes on the walls. The kitchen had plenty of utensils, making it easy to cook meals. The location was perfect, centrally located and close to shopping and restaurants. The wifi worked flawlessly throughout my stay. I highly recommend Chillout Hostel for a great experience in Zagreb.

The hostel had a fantastic atmosphere and was conveniently located just a short walk from the main square. I also enjoyed the karaoke night at the bar, it was a lot of fun!

There were a couple of drawbacks to my experience. the smoking in the common areas was quite overwhelming and made everything smell like smoke.

The location was perfect for exploring the city and the staff was friendly and helpful. The colorful rooms and modern facilities made our stay more fun. Although there were some minor drawbacks, like the lack of in-room lockers and occasional noise from the nightclub, overall I would highly recommend this hostel.
